• Honey Glazed Prawns

    Honey Prawns


    • 500 grams prawns, peeled
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
    • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 spring onions, diced 1 cm lengths
    • lime wedges to serve (optional)


    1. Mix all ingredients except for prawns, spring onions and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to make the marinade
    2. Combine ingredients until well combined and marinate the prawns for at least 30 minutes. Leave longer or overnight for more flavour
    3. Heat a fry pan over a medium – high heat along with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Cook prawns for 4-5 minutes stirring continuously
    4. Add chopped spring onions and toss through until they begin to soften slightly
    5. Serve with lime wedges if desired
