• Healthy Souvlaki


    The wrap used in this recipe is also a great substitute for people wishing to limit their intake of bread or gluten.


    For wrap – makes around 6

    • 1 cup tapioca flour
    • 1/2 cup coconut flour
    • 1/2 cup olive oil
    • 2 eggs

    For garlic aioli sauce

    • 125 mL olive oil
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 1 teaspoon vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
    • 1 teaspoon honey

    For filling

    • Cooked meat of your choice – chicken, lamb, pork, beef
    • Sliced lettuce
    • Diced tomatoes
    • Grated cheese
    • Diced onions and mushrooms if desired


    For wraps

    1. Blend all ingredients together until completely combined
    2. Add a small amount of oil to a frypan over a medium heat and cook like pancakes

    For aioli sauce

    1. Combine egg yolk with vinegar
    2. Whisk continuously while slowly adding the oil until all added and combined
    3. Add honey and garlic
    4. Add salt and pepper to taste if desired

    Fill wrap with your favourite meat and salad, add sauce and enjoy
