• Crustless Quiche

    crustless quiche


    • 500 grams of lean beef mince or bacon
    • 1 red capsicum, diced
    • 1 medium onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 can coconut milk
    • 2 tablespoon coconut butter
    • salt and pepper to taste


    1. Pre heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
    2. Melt coconut butter in a fry pan over a medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until onion becomes translucent. Add capsicum and cook for another 3 minutes
    3. Add mince or chopped bacon pieces and cook for 5 minutes or to your liking. Add salt and pepper if desired. Remove from heat and set aside
    4. Combine eggs and coconut milk in a bowl and whisk together
    5. Transfer mixture to a round baking dish and stir in the cooled cooked ingredients
    6. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until the top starts to turn brown
    7. Reduce heat to 150 degrees and cook for another 10 minutes
    8. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 10-15 minutes before serving
