• Asian Marinated Slow Cooked Beef Ribs


    This dish is best left to marinade overnight for best results


    • 2 – 2.5 kilo’s beef short ribs
    • 1 lime, juiced
    • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
    • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
    • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
    • salt and pepper to taste


    1. Place ribs in a large bowl or shallow baking dish
    2. In another bowl, combine all ingredients to make the marinade. Mix well
    3. Pour marinade over ribs and cover with cling wrap. Refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours. You can leave for a couple of days for even more flavour
    4. Place ribs in slow cooker and pour any extra marinade over the top. If you need a little more liquid just add 2 tablespoons of water
    5. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours until the meat is tender and falling from the bones
    6. Serve and enjoy
